"I will forever be grateful for what High tech High International has done for my son... and
for my family. My eldest son came into high school very unsure of himself, academically
and emotionally. The teachers at HTHI believed in him...more than he believed in
himself. He felt safe to explore who he was...as a learner and as a friend. And...explore
he did. With the help of so many teachers along the way he found his shining light.
He has become completely engaged in his learning...not for any reward, but for the pure
joy of it. He is going into the world as a young man who not only wants to do well ʻinʼ the
world but as an individual who want to do good ʻforʼ the world."
-Lise Bernard, Class of 2015 and 2013 parent
"Our child has become more comfortable speaking in front of people. She is a more confident, creative, innovative, self-motivated, leader that can interact with adults and children from many cultures with ease. Thank you for the opportunity to grow and excel in ways unfathomed previously."

Students
"What I like about High Tech High is the project based learning. We get to learn about things that every other high school learns, just in more positive ways. To learn about Greek theater we put on a play using the Ancient Greek format. We become more in depth on topics and way more interested in learning about them."
-Becca Branch, class of 2016
"I've really enjoyed my time at HTHI. The culture is really friendly and inclusive, and most people feel like their teachers really know them. Through the projects we've done we gain really useful life skills and applying content to real life situations."
-Andrea Quintantar, class of 2015
"I love the school because it gives me a chance to really be myself without the worry of anyone discriminating me. Furthermore the teachers really want you to do well, not because it's their job but because they honestly care for you."
-Jonese Watson, class of 2014
"Attending the High Tech Village for 6 years now has been a great experience. High Tech Middle brought me out of a shy cocoon and has blossomed me into a fun butterfly. Being at High Tech High International is very innovating. You can be whoever you want with whoever you want and have fun learning. Another great thing about High Tech teachers is the level of respect you gain from them. Getting to know your teachers on a personal level is not what many schools do, and that separates us from other schools. I am currently a senior and ready to embark on my next journey into college. As for the international aspect of our school, I have traveled with a group of students to the British Virgin Islands. I never before imagined, that I would be able to leave the country, but coming to High Tech High International has given me that option."

"The teacher autonomy granted to High Tech High teachers helps us pursue what we truly love to teach. That passion infects the students, culminating in a wonderful learning environment where staff and students alike are stoked to be at school."

"The visit was much appreciated over here. It validated many of the directions we are headed, nudged some folks in a direction we want to go, and rocked some other worlds. It was fantastic to have such an enthusiastic group of students share their excitement for learning and affecting the world they live in."
