Senior Project:
The senior project was inspired by the internship project that all the juniors/11th graders have to do each year. Internship was during the month of January, the 11th graders are all sent into the work place of their choosing. After the month of January all of the teachers see that the 11th graders are more matured and can handle more responsibility. A senior teacher ,Will Haase, saw this and wanted the 12th graders to go through this again, as to go more in-depth with the career choice/path we are passionate about. Because of this we had students in all areas. Whether it was on a farm, a school, or working with homeless youth. The students had the freedom to choose what they wanted to do for the month of May, with in reason of course. After the month of May the students have to put together a presentation of what they did during the month. It could be anything, ranging from posters to documentaries.
After getting back from our trip to Canada, we all wrote a reflection on the trip, shared some valuable moments, rewarding experiences and how it affected us. Below are the links to each group member's own reflection.
